Schools in Kandy open on Monday, except for three schools: CP Governor

Following a lengthy discussion, the Central Province Governor has decided to open 42 schools out of the 45 on Monday (14) in the Kandy city limits.

The decision was taken following a meeting at the Governor office, on the prevailing COVID-19 situation in Kandy.

The Zonal Education Director will inform the Heads of Schools in this regard.

However, three schools; namely Thakshila Vidyalaya, Trinity College and Kalaimagal tamil maha vidyalayam will remain closed. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
