STF arrest three suspects with ICE drugs in Avissawella

The Special Task Force (STF) has arrested three persons with a stock of Crystal methamphetamine (ICE) drugs worth over Rs. 1.5 million during two raids.

The raids were carried out at Thalduwa and at Dam Street in Avissawella under the direction of STF Commandant.

The STF seized 208 grams and 890 milligrams of ice, Rs. 350,000 in cash earned from the sale of the drug, a car and six mobile phones.

The suspects, aged between 24 and 41, are residents of Colombo and Avissawella.

The suspects and the seized items have been handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
