SLTB’s daily earnings surge to over Rs. 20M in New Year rush

Colombo, April 12 (Daily Mirror) - The daily earnings of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) have surged by over Rs. 20 million due to increased demand for transport services during the New Year period, SLTB Deputy General Manager Panduka Swarnahansa said. 

This is a significant boost compared to the usual daily income, he said.

To cater to the influx of travellers heading to their hometowns, the SLTB has organised special bus services departing from the Colombo Central Bus Stand today.

Additionally, the SLTB has arranged numerous bus services to run along all the expressways starting from the Makumbura Multimodal Center (MMC).
