SJB member arrested for illegal gun possession

Colombo, July 11 (Daily Mirror) - An Ambalangoda Pradeshiya Sabha member representing the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has been arrested by the Galle District Crime Division for allegedly possessing a repeater gun illegally.

Police have launched investigations into how the councillor obtained the firearm and whether it had been used in any criminal activities.
