Rough seas forecast along Western, Southern and Eastern coastlines

Colombo, June 1 (Daily Mirror) - The sea areas extending from Mullaittivu to Pottuvil via Kankasanthurai, Mannar, Puttalam, Colombo, Galle and Hambantota are expected to be rough at times, with strong gusty winds reaching up to 50–60 kmph.

Authorities have issued a warning advising naval and fishing communities engaged in activities in these sea regions to remain vigilant due to the adverse sea conditions.

Fishermen and seafarers operating in the affected coastal belt have been urged to take necessary precautions and ensure safety while venturing out to sea.
