Rajitha withdraws appeal petition

The appeal filed by former Health Minister Rajitha Senaratna challenging the Colombo High Court's decision to refuse bail was yesterday withdrawn by himself.

The Court of Appeal was informed that Rajitha Senaratna is not expecting to proceed with appeal petition since he has already enlarged on bail in connection with the controversial White Van Press Conference.
