Rajitha remanded till May 27

Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne was remanded till May 27 by the Colombo Magistrate's Court over the 'white van' press conference. He was arrested this evening after he surrendered to the CID.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Priosn Department said that Dr. Senaratne is to be sent to the Pallansena isolation centre in Negombo. (Yoshitha Perera)
