RCB face GT in Qualifier 1, SRH meet RR in Eliminator

May.25 (Mirror Sports) - The league stage of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 concluded on May 24 after Kolkata Knight Riders suffered a 40-run defeat to Delhi Capitals at Eden Gardens, confirming Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals as the four playoff teams.

Rajasthan Royals secured the final playoff berth with 16 points, finishing one point ahead of Punjab Kings.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1 on May 26 at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The winner will advance directly to the final.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator on May 27 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. The winner will progress to Qualifier 2, while the loser will be eliminated from the tournament.

Qualifier 2 will be played on May 29 in New Chandigarh between the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator.

The IPL 2026 final is scheduled to be held on May 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
