President’s fund misused by two sitting MPs, several others: Deputy Minister

Colombo, August 5 (Daily Mirror) - The President's Fund has been used to assist relatives of politicians in the past, Deputy Minister Anura Karunathilaka told Parliament today.

Accordingly, late MP Sarathchandra Rajakaruna had sought assistance for his son Harshana Rajakaruna's higher education while MP V. Radakrishnan had sought assistance for one of his relatives, the Deputy Minister said.
