Power interruptions in multiple districts amid torrential rains

The Ministry of Power and Energy announced the disconnection of power supply to several areas in the Galle, Kalutara, Ratnapura, Colombo and Kegalle districts.

The Secretary to the Ministry of Power & Energy stated that this decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety and maintain the integrity of the power infrastructure.

Residents in the affected districts are advised to remain calm and follow any further instructions from local authorities.
