Power cut schedule for weekend, Monday issued: PUCSL

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) today approved the power cut schedule during the weekend.

Its chairman Janaka Rathnayake said one hour powercut wil impose during the weekend and two hour power shedding on Monday (21).

Accordingly, one hour powercut will be imposed in the areas that come under group A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W tomorrow (20) and the day-after (21) between 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

However, there will be a two- hour powercut from Monday (21) in the areas listed under group A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W.

One hour black out during daytime and one hour black out during night will be experienced by the consumers living in the areas listed above. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
