Police to probe attack on bus returning from NPP rally

Colombo, September 13 (Daily Mirror) -  Police investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in an attack on a bus returning from a National People’s Power (NPP) election rally in Monaragala this morning (13).

The bus, carrying supporters from a public meeting at the Monaragala Pradeshiya Sabha stadium attended by NPP Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake, was reportedly attacked by a group of unidentified individuals.

Four persons were injured during the attack and they were admitted to the Buttala Divisional Hospital.
