Podi Menike couldn’t proceed beyond Kotagala

The Podi Menike train, which left Badulla from Colombo Fort, came to a halt at the Kotagala railway station as it couldn't proceed beyond as the signal network didn't function due to the ongoing railway trade union action.

The train came to a halt at the Kotagala station at noon today.

All train services ground to a halt today due to the trade union action by the Railway Station Masters’ Union (RSMU) today.
