People living in WP prohibited from leaving the province

People in the Western Province are prohibited from travelling outside the Province with immediate effect until November 15, Army Commander Shavendra Silva said.

Speaking to Daily Mirror, he also requested people living in the Western Province to curtail movement within the province.

"These steps are taken as precautionary measures to contain the spread of Covid-19 in the country," he added. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
