PM requests non-essential public sector staff not to report for duty tomorrow

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today requested the non-essential public sector employees not to report to duty tomorrow owing to the prevailing fuel shortage in the country.

He told Parliament that this move would help manage the fuel scarcity situation in the country at present. (Ajith Siriwardana and Yohan Perera)
