One killed, another injured in shooting at Mulleriyawa

A 42-year-old man has been shot dead and another was injured when a gunman on a motorbike opened fire at them at Kotikawatte in Mulleriyawa this morning, Police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that the injured person age 45-year old was admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo.

He said investigation revealed that two men had arrived for the shooting and that several police teams have been deployed to arrest the suspects.(DSB)
