Official: Shah Rukh Khan to visit Sri Lanka on August 2

Colombo, July 2 (Daily Mirror) - Colombo is set to witness a star-studded evening as Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan will attend the grand opening of City of Dreams Sri Lanka on August 2.

Regarded as the “King of Bollywood,” Shah Rukh Khan will be the special guest at the exclusive, invite-only launch event of South Asia’s first luxury integrated resort, developed by John Keells Holdings in partnership with Melco Resorts & Entertainment.

The opening will also mark the launch of the resort’s official campaign, “Let’s Go, Let Go,” introducing a new era of luxury and entertainment in Sri Lanka. The City of Dreams Sri Lanka will offer a range of high-end experiences including global cuisine, elegant hotel accommodations, wellness facilities, luxury retail outlets, and the largest and most modern meeting and event spaces in the country.

A key highlight of the resort is a world-class casino, operated by Melco Resorts & Entertainment. The opening will also mark the debut of Nuwa, Melco’s luxury hotel brand, in Colombo.
