OIC’s serving over 3 years in same police station will be transferred: Minister

The Ministry of Public Security has decided to transfer officers-in-charge of police stations who have been serving in the same police station for more than three years.

Minister Tiran Alas said that applications were called for the appointment of Police OICs and around 1300 such applications have been received. 

He said 1,090 officers have been chosen through interviews and they will be appointed as OICs soon.
