New power cut schedule announced

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has directed the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to impose power cuts between 4.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. today so that the ongoing G.C.E. Advanced Level examination would not be affected.

As such, two-hour power cut will be imposed between 4.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. today,PUCSL chairman Janaka Ratnayake said.
