Narammala Deputy PS Chairman remanded

Deputy Chairman of Narammala Pradeshiya Sabha Manjula Polgampola who was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police constable, was remanded till July 3, by the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate today.

He was arrested last night for assaulting the constable who was on dutyat the Narammala Police Station.

The constable was injured in the incident and was admitted to the Kuliyapitiya Hospital.
