Namal meets Modi

Colombo, April 9 (Daily Mirror) - After attending the 'Rising Bharat Summit 2025' in New Delhi, SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday.

The summit focused on strengthening trade, security and diplomatic ties between India and Sri Lanka. 

In a post on X, Rajapaksa stated that India has reached great heights in the modern world under Modi’s firm leadership, with its economy continuing to grow rapidly.
