NPP wins 9 seats in Kandy, SJB 2 seats

The National People's Power (NPP) secured nine seats in the Kandy District with 500,596 votes. The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) secured two seats with 145,939 votes, while the New Democratic Front (NDF) secured one seat with 50,889 votes.

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) was unable to secure any seats in the Kandy District
