NPP wins 6 seats in Badulla, SJB secures 2, NDF 1

The National People's Power (NPP) secured six seats in the Badulla District, capturing 58.59% of the total votes. The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) won two seats, while the New Democratic Front (NDF) secured one seat.

Former Ministers Nimal Siripala de Silva and Harin Fernando contested from the NDF, while the SJB list included former MPs Chaminda Wijesiri, Nayana Wasalatilaka, ex-State Minister Dilan Perera, and Lakshman Senewiratne, who has been out of Parliament for some time.

The NPP was led by former Parliamentarian Samantha Vidyaratna.
