Moratuwa Mayor’s bail application rejected

The bail application filed on behalf of Moratuwa Mayor Samanlal Fernando,seeking bail has been rejected by the Moratuwa Additional Magistrate today.

He was arrested and remanded until June 11 for allegedly threatening a female doctor and obstructing duties of officials.(Reka Tharangani Fonseka)
