Minister instructs IGP to probe complaint against Ratwatte

Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekera has instructed IGP Chandana Wickramaratne to immediately investigate the complaint lodged with the CID against State Minister Lohan Ratwatte.

The Committee for Protecting Rights of Prisoners has lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today urging the immediate arrest of State Minister Lohan Ratwatte over allegedly threatening the Tamil prisoners at the Anuradhapura Prison on Sunday.(DSB)
