Milk tea price to increase by Rs. 5 tonight

Colombo, May 20 (Daily Mirror) - The price of a cup of milk tea will be increased by Rs. 5 with effect from midnight today (20), the All Ceylon Restaurant and Bar Owners Association said.

The association said that the decision has been taken amid rising operational costs faced by restaurant and tea shop owners. As a result, consumers across the country are expected to see an increase in the price of milk tea from today onward.

Further details regarding the revised prices of other food and beverage items have not yet been announced.
