Malagasy woman attacks Indian woman at Mirihana detention centre

An Indian woman has been assaulted by a Malagasy woman at the Mirihana detention centre where people are detained for visa violation.
 
Police Spokesman SDIG Ajith Rohana said that a 29 year-old woman detainee from Madagascar detained was arrested in connection with physical attack on a 26-year-old Indian woman detainee.

The detainees are being held in Mirihana under the supervision of the Controller of Immigration and Emigration. 

The arrested woman has been released on bail after being produced in court.
