Major drug bust at BIA cargo village

A major drug bust was reported at the Cargo Village of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), according to police.

Authorities discovered a substantial quantity of narcotics hidden in unclaimed air cargo parcels, which included around 7 kilograms of the drug known as ‘ICE’, 1.1 kilograms of Kush, and 1.3 kilograms of Mandy.
