Madush’s cousin, five others detained at BIA after deported from Dubai

Six more individuals, who were arrested along with drug kingpin Makandure Madush, were deported from Dubai last night, police said.

The cousin brother of Makandure Madush was also among the deported suspects and they were detained by the CID at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for questioning.

Police said that the suspects arrived in the country at around 4.45 this morning on UL 226 flight.

The deported suspects were identified as, Mohammad Rizan Mohammad Badhurdeen, Gayan Buddhima, Mohammad Jabeer, R. Suresh Wasantha, H. Rupadasa Simon and S. Nilan Romesh who is the cousin brother of Madush.(Darshana Sanjeewa)
