’It is now time for President to prove his allegations’: Namal challenges AKD

Colombo, Oct 02 (Daily Mirror) - Former MP Namal Rajapaksa has challenged President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to prove his allegations that the Rajapaksa regime has hidden billions of dollars in Uganda and other countries.

In response to a video of Dissanayake during his Presidential election campaign, Namal said that the President and his team have been claiming for years that public funds were stolen. 

“President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and his team have alleged for years that we have stashed away billions of dollars in Uganda and various countries. It is now time for President AKD to prove his allegations,” Rajapaksa posted on 'X'.
