Indian arrested with gold worth Rs. 5mn

An Indian national was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning when he attempted to smuggle 1 kg of gold worth Rs. 5 million into the country.

The Police Narcotic Bureau at the BIA arrested suspect and he was handed over to the Sri Lanka Customs for further investigations.
