Indian Defence Secy. on a two-day visit to SL

Indian Defence Secretary Sanjay Mitra arrived in Sri Lanka on a two-day official visit yesterday afternoon.

A delegation of seven members also arrived in the country with him on a two-day visit.

Mr. Mitra will hold bilateral discussions with President Maithripala Sirisena, Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando, Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne and the commanders of the three armed forces.

The Indian delegation arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport from Delhi around 3.30 pm yesterday.
