IUSF convener arrested

Convener of the Inter University Students' Federation, Maheel Dehideniya, was arrested by the police over unruly behaviour during the protest carried out by the IUSF students near the parliament roundabout today, police said.

Police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse the IUSF students.
