IRGC issues new map of Strait of Hormuz under its control

Al Jazeera - Iran’s Islamic ⁠Revolutionary ⁠Guard Corps (IRGC) has published a new map of ⁠areas in the Strait of Hormuz ⁠under the control of its navy, the Fars News Agency reports.

The area starts in the ‌west with a line between the westernmost tip of Iran’s Qeshm Island and the UAE’s Umm ⁠al-Quwain emirate.

⁠In the east, the area stops at a line ⁠between Iran’s Mount Mobarak ⁠and the ⁠UAE’s emirate of Fujairah.

It’s not immediately clear to what extent the claimed area of control ‌has ‌changed.
