May 27 (Daily Mirror) - The IPL 2026 league stage concluded with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) qualifying for the playoffs after finishing in the top four of the points table.

Defending champions RCB became the first team to qualify and eventually topped the standings with 18 points and the best net run rate. GT and SRH also finished on 18 points, while RR secured the final playoff berth with 16 points after defeating Mumbai Indians in their last league game.

Several teams narrowly missed out on qualification. Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders were eliminated on the final matchday, while Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and Lucknow Super Giants failed to make the playoffs earlier in the tournament.
