Gotabaya refutes any connection to controversial building in Kataragama

Colombo, Oct. 14 (Daily Mirror) - Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa refuted recent media reports linking his name to a building near the Menik Ganga in Kataragama, stating that he has no connections whatsoever to the said property.

He said in a Facebook post that he even gave a statement to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the ongoing investigations into the property.

He further said in the post that he had never wanted to build or maintain a building in Kataragama.
