Gota assures solutions to northern people’s concerns

The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa today assured he would resolve the plight faced by the northern people.

He gave this assurance during a discussion held with the Eelam People's Democratic Party (EPDP) Leader Douglas Devananda about the concerns of the people in the North because of the lack of development.

Mr. Rajapaksa said a people-friendly government would help provide answers to their concerns and that he would create an environment where all citizens could live in unity and be proud to be Sri Lankans. (Lahiru Pothmulla)
