Gampaha District gets 10-hour water cut tomorrow

Colombo, June 10 (Daily Mirror) - Several main areas of the Gampaha District will experience a 10-hour water cut tomorrow as announced by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) today. 

The temporary suspension to the water supply is reportedly to facilitate the connection of solar grid of the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant to the main grid as well as to carry out necessary maintenance work. 

Accordingly, the supply to Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha areas as well as Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake-Seeduwa Urban Council areas will be distributed from 8.30am to 6.30pm tomorrow.
