Four more Sabaragamuwa undergrads arrested over ragging incident

Colombo, May 5 (Daily Mirror) - Four more students of the Sabaragamuwa University were arrested today by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) over the ragging incident at the University, Police said.

The arrested students are third year students of the Faculty of Technology at the University of Sabaragamuwa.

The suspects are to be produced before the Balangoda Magistrate's Court tomorrow.

Meanwhile, four students who were arrested yesterday over the same incident were remanded till May 16 after being produced before the Balangoda Magistrate's Court.

The investigations into the ragging incident at the Sabaragamuwa University were handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following the instructions of the Acting IGP.
