Extracts from Krrish case sent to AG

The FCID told Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today that it had sent the extracts of the Krrish case to the Attorney General seeking his opinion.

UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa was accused of misappropriating Rs.70 million paid to him by the Krrish Company to conduct a rugby tournament in 2013.

The FCID also told the Court that the investigation of the inquiry is over.

Subsequently, the Magistrate fixed March 20 to obtain the Attorney General's opinion. (Shehan Chamika Silva)
