Duo nabbed with over 1kg of ’Ice’ at Dam Street

The Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) arrested two suspects with 1kg and 5g of Ice (methamphetamine) in a raid carried out at Dam Street, Pettah in Colombo yesterday (15).

The two suspects arrested were 29 and 37 years old residents of Colombo 02 and Colombo 12, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

Meanwhile, he said that there is a tendency of using methamphetamine instead of heroin in the recent days.
