Drastic dip in accidents during festive season

Colombo, April 15 (Daily Mirror) - Health authorities have noticed a significant decrease in accidents, notably firecracker-related incidents, during the festive season. 

According to Deputy Director of the Colombo National Hospital Dr Rukshan Bellana, there were no admissions due to firecracker-related accidents during the period 

However, three patients sought treatment at the outpatient department for minor injuries at the National Hospital.

Furthermore, there were only a few incidents of motor accidents, domestic accidents including falling. Nevertheless, none of the incidents were critical.
