Doctor found dead at her residence in Kadugannawa

The body of a woman, a doctor attached to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital was found hanging at her house at Kadugannawa today.

Police suspect that deceased, a 54-year old doctor had committed suicide.

Investigation revealed that she was working at the OPD unit of the hospital.

The reason of the death yet to be ascertained and the Kadugannawa Police is investigating.
