Dhammika Bandara’s brother dies of Covid-19

Younger brother of Dhammika Bandara, a much talked about person for introducing a syrup (Pani) said to cure COVID-19, has died of Covid pneumonia despite obtaining all three doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

Kegalle police said the deceased was a 58-year-old resident of Hettimulla, Kegalle.

He was a father of three and was receiving treatment for cancer and had died at home on February 12.

He was confirmed to have contracted Covid-19 following a Rapid Antigen Test conducted at the Kegalle Hospital. (Chaminda Jayalath)
