Cabinet allocates US$ 69 Mn to import 7 Mn. Sputnik V vaccines from Russia

The Cabinet endorsed today an allocation of US$ 69 million to import seven million Sputnik V vaccines from Russia, a top source said.

The Health Ministry had sought cabinet approval for this purpose.

Sputnik V vaccine is developed by Russia and has an efficacy rate of more than 90%.(Kelum Bandara)
