Binura Fernando hospitalized ahead of first India T20I

(Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka were dealt another injury blow ahead of the first T20I against India on Saturday, with left-arm fast bowler Binura Fernando being hospitalized due to a chest infection. 

Spinner Ramesh Mendis has been brought into the squad as a standby player, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said. 

Earlier this week, fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera was ruled out of the three-match series through illness, while Nuwan Thushara picked up a left thumb injury that also ruled him out of the series, with Asitha Fernando and Dilshan Madushanka being named as replacements.
