Badulla Hospital becomes a Teaching Hospital

Badulla Hospital has become a Teaching Hospital along with the Faculty of Medicine from yesterday. 

A special ceremony was held at the Badulla Library Auditorium to mark the enrollment of new students where the Nimal Siripala de Silva Foundation donated a stethoscope to each of the 50 new medical students. 

Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha, University Grants Commission Chairman Sampath Amaratunga, Uva University Chancellor Dr. Jayantha Balawardena, Vice Chancellor Prof. Kolitha Bandara Wijesekera and a group of officials and parents of medical students participated in these events.
