Badulla-Colombo night mail trains cancelled today

All night mail train services on upcountry railway lines were cancelled today due to trees fallen on the tracks between Ohiya and Idalgashinna railway stations, the Railway Department said.

As a result, the night mail train from Colombo Fort to Badulla, as well as the train scheduled to leave from Badulla in the night have been canceled.

They stated the department's workers are currently engaged in repairing the track. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
