Associate of Zahran and Abubakar arrested in Pulmudai

An associate of the main suspect of Easter Sunday attacks, Zahran Hashim and Abusali Abubakar, has been arrested by the STF in Pulmudai yesterday.

The STF said the suspect was arrested following a tip-off at Jinnapuram in Pulmudai.

It was revealed that the suspect had connection with Zahran Hashim and Abusali Abubakar who is in remand custody over the Easter attacks.

Abubakar was arrested after he was extradited from Saudi Arabia.

The arrested suspect was handed over to the Pulmudai Police. (DSB)
