Appeal by Kotte chief prelate to teachers to resume teaching

The Chief Prelate (Mahanayake) of Kotte Sri Kalayani Samagri Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha of Siyam Maha Nikaya, Ven. Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Anu Nayake Thera, made a kind appeal to all teachers in the country to resume their teaching practices as soon as possible.

The prelate made this request in view of the commemoration of the 137th Birthday of Dr. C.W.W. Kannangara at his village in Mathugama today.

"I kindly request the teachers in the country to forget everything and continue with their educational activities, as it is the most important thing of all at the moment," the Thera said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
